The Hartford Goodwill Career Center offers FREE services, including help with resumés, computer skills, and job searching. There are many computers there for everyone to use, and four staff members available (some of whom speak Spanish) to help anyone who walks in. They also sponsor job fairs. Please call Goodwill for more information.

If you’d like to get one-on-one help with your resume or job search, you’ll need to go to a career services information session first.  These sessions meet the first and third Tuesday of every month at 11:00 am. After you attend the information session, you will be set up with an instructor.  

If you’d like to use the computers and resources on your own, all you need is a library card. If you don’t have a card, you can apply for one at the job center.

The job center is on the first floor of the library, on the left when you walk in the front door.

New Britain American Job Center
