BUILDING CONNECTIONS: A BOOK CLUB FOR IMMIGRANTS is a language class and book club for adult advanced English language learners, taught and facilitated by Elizabeth Hanlon. This program has become much more than a place where adults practice speaking and reading English, however. It is also a friendship and support group and a place where community members, such as local authors, are invited to visit the club meetings. There have amazing trips to theaters and museums, as well.
